A New Election Integrity Sheriff is in Town

We’re called the Marin Election Integrity Committee and we’re here to ensure that Marin County elections are free and fair.

To accomplish that goal we recruit, train and schedule election observers then issue a report. Our report on the November 8, 2022 general election will become available at the end of April 2023. Our description of the Voter’s Choice Act election system used in Marin County may be available sooner.

Recounts are not automatic in the State of California, not even if there is only one vote separating two candidates or a passage of a proposition or measure.

Recounts are costly. We plan to build a war chest to pursue strategic recounts of local races in Marin County. Information on how to donate to that effort will be available soon.
